Château Haut Brion - 1er Grand Cru Classé Pessac-Léognan 2010

The colour of this wine Château Haut-Brion is close to a superb ruby red, with a purplish sheen. The nose reveals itself on swirling. The aromas follow one another in a superb fade, starting with a woody side, followed by red fruit and then the terroir through flavours of cocoa powder, roasting and Havana.
On the palate, the sweetness of the start gives way to the appearance of tannic structure. Despite their palpable density, the tannins have a great, never-ending finish. This wine has the depth and smoothness of the 1989, the thickness of the 2000, the freshness of the 2005 and the unctuousness of the 2009.
