Château Léoville Las Cases St Julien 2015

In the 2015 vintage, the three grape varieties produced wines that were very mature. The Merlot is concentrated, while the Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon have plenty of flesh and length. The balance reveals a tannic structure that is powerful, tight, very fine and full of elegance.
Château Léoville Las Cases 2015 dark colour, the nose is relatively discreet. The wine is dense and firm with straightforwardness and fine tannins. The whole is long and racy, in a more Pauillac style with a lot of Cabernet, which does not prevent it from having a lovely mellowness. In fact, it is more charming than usual, with a fairly high alcohol content (13.80°). It is clearly one of the great Las Cases wines of all time.
