Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion dévoile, avec son « Hommage au Siècle, 1917-2017 », un voyage dans le temps et dans un univers organoleptique inédit. Avec le cabernet franc en vedette et un « nez » d’exception aux manettes.

Among those who have marked the history of Les Carmes, one woman has left her mark: Madame Chantecaille, known as Bijou, born in 1917. This Marie-Jeanne is a creation that began with months of exploration into "what we owe to our predecessors". A process further enriched by a two-year collaboration with a nose, a perfume designer, Barnabé Fillion.

This desire to pay tribute has led the team at Les Carmes to bottle an exceptional, exclusive wine, composed of Cabernet Franc. An invitation to taste the spirit of the place through the prism of this emblematic Carmes grape variety.

An expression of the 2017 vintage, the wine was aged for 4 years in barrels and amphorae, with 60 to 70% of whole grapes. Full-bodied and mineral, with powdery tannins, the brilliant aromas express notes of sap, pepper and spices.

The perfume bottle accompanies this second edition of Marie-Jeanne, of which 500 are numbered.
