Mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, the Château Mouton Rothschild 2006 blend expresses a complex aromatic palette, combining red fruit, wild blackberry and raspberry with spices, white pepper and vanilla. There are also hints of controlled oakiness. Elegant and structured, the nose is enriched by notes of incense and jammy hints. The attack and roundness of the palate are followed by tannins with spicy flavours. The palate is full, creamy and powerful. Château Mouton Rothschild 2006 is one of the estate's "great classics".
