Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru Vincent Girardin 2019

The parcel from which Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Vincent Girardin's 2019 estate is located in the communes of Aloxe Corton, Pernand Vergelesses and Ladoix Serrigny. The 45-year-old vines are planted on marly soil rich in clay and limestone. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes at altitudes of between 280 and 330 metres, with south, south-west, south-east and north-west exposure.
Surely one of the finest appellations for this great white wine... A woody, spicy nose full of almonds and a full, silky palate. The whole is enhanced by a fine minerality and subtle citrus notes.
