This Côteaux du Layon sweet wine has a deep, golden yellow colour with green tints, evolving to old gold with amber tints. Intense and complex on the nose, with aromas of flowers, white fruit, candied citrus and exotic fruit in the first few years, evolving after 5 to 10 years towards notes of precious wood, dried or candied fruit, honey, grilled almonds and generally marked by a strong minerality. Powerful and opulent on the palate, with a strong sensation of fatness, making these sweet wines models of balance between mellowness and liveliness.
