Ermitage Blanc "Le Méal" Domaine Chapoutier 2011

Ermitage Blanc "Le Méal" by Chapoutier, a bottle of anthology !

Grapes used to make the Sélection Parcellaire "Le Méal" come from the Méal hillside. Vines over 50 years old produce a small crop, guaranteeing high quality.

The nose of this exceptional hermitage is Intense, very mineral, notes of celery, discreet, integrated oak.

In the mouth are Full-bodied, fat and very fine on the palate, with a lovely exotic freshness and roasted almonds. Depending on the vintage, the wine can be kept for 30 to 60 years, or even 50 to 75 years.

Goes well with foie gras. Lobster with beurre blanc. Lamprey à la bordelaise. Veal maringo. Saint Félicien with truffles.
