Excellent because of the subtle balance between power and refinement: intense aromas of ripe, crunchy fruit, a smooth, straightforward attack, tight, velvety tannins and great purity. We find the charm of a sunny vintage, with a touch of flamboyant classicism, baroque one might say, in harmony with the elegance and breed provided by the freshness and tension of the lingering finish. Ageing potential: 2040 - 2050.
