Château d'Agassac - Haut-Médoc 2012

The very fine structure of this Château d'Agassac wine is silky, giving us a rich, full-bodied, supple and well-balanced Agassac.
In its youth, this wine expresses small red fruit aromas, giving way to menthol, tobacco and cedar fragrances that are characteristic of this Médoc terroir.
To the eye, a beautiful deep garnet red with violet highlights that intensify the brilliance of this wine.
The nose is both delicate and powerful, releasing successive notes of prunes in brandy, black cherries, blackcurrants and menthol.
On the palate, supple, velvety tannins coat a firm, rich, fresh texture. The silky structure of this wine delivers flavours of fresh thyme, black pepper and camphor. The lively, fruity finish is underlined by notes of incense that define the Agassac terroir.
