Le Petit Cheval - St Emilion Grand Cru 2011

In the shadow of his two illustrious predecessors, Little Horse 2011 benefited from regular but not excessive dry weather throughout the year. As a result, this is a very fine vintage, very classic and in keeping with the estate's philosophy.

Attractive garnet-red colour. On the nose, ripe red fruit, raspberries, crushed blackberries, hints of spices and black pepper. The aromas are close to those of a great wine, but the palate emphasises balance and continuity. Full attack, spherical texture, grainy with perfectly integrated oak. The finish is intense, as fresh as it is long.
