Valbuena 5º de Vega Sicilia is a red wine of great finesse, dominated by the Tempranillo grape variety (Tinto fino) with a touch of Merlot depending on the vintage. It comes from single parcels located on concave slopes with complex soils, developing an exceptional terroir. The wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, before a long ageing period of five years, alternating between French and American oak. Each vintage reflects the purity of the terroir and climatic variations, resulting in a wine rich in history and expression.
