La Appleton Estate distillery is based in Jamaica, in the fertile Nassau Valley, which enjoys an ideal microclimate.

The distillery owns 4,400 hectares of land and harvests 216,000 tonnes of sugar cane a year.

The Black River also offers very soft water, perfect for distilling Appleton Rum.

Reflecting the exceptional spirit that distinguishes the Jamaican distillery, Appleton 12 Year Old Aged Rum is the product of a meticulous blend of several vintages aged in oak casks for a minimum of 12 years.

This Jamaican rum is richly aromatic yet accessible to novices. When tasted, Appleton 12 Year Old reveals a beautiful personality, showing both sweetness and character. The nose is dominated by notes of honey, oak, toasted almonds and vanilla. The orange zest on the nose is also present on the palate. The signature of this spirit is its notes of orange and oak.

The structure of this rum means you can enjoy it neat or with an ice cube.
