Le Hoffmann-Jayer EstateMagny-lès-Villers is located between Beaune and Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Hautes Côtes region of Burgundy. The special feature of this village is that it forms the junction between the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. The Domaine covers 11 hectares. We mainly offer red wines from the Côte de Nuits, with our Echezeaux "Du Dessus" Grand Cru, the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1 Grand Cru and the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1 Grand Cru.^erCru 'Les Damodes', Nuits-Saint-Georges Village 'Les Hauts Poirets'. Hand-picked when ripe, the grapes are then sorted and slowly pressed into whole bunches. The must is then cold-settled and put into barrels for fermentation. The nose reveals notes of mirabelle plum, cinnamon, vanilla, toasted nuts, custard and a fresh minty note. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, balanced by good acidity, with flavours of lemon meringue tartlet, cinnamon and toasted hazelnuts, and an airy, elegant finish.
