This 1.8 hectare vineyard is ideally situated mid-slope on a hillside close to the vines of Corton-Charlemagne. It has the same geology and is at the same altitude as its illustrious neighbour, but differs in that it faces due east. In short: an exceptional terroir marked by intense minerality.

Pernand Vergelesses Caradeux is pale gold in colour. The nose is very fresh, with delicate citrus notes mingled with white-fleshed fruit and enhanced by the minerality characteristic of the appellation. A very clean attack on the palate, with hints of iodine. Beautiful complexity with a chiselled texture. Long, precise finish.
