Springbank whisky is distilled 2.5 times and is lightly peated.

Casks: 65% of Port, 25% of Bourbon, 5% of Rum and 5% of Sherry

Nose: Notes of dunnage, old library books, leather, treacle and cinnamon kick-start this rich whisky.

Palate: Viscous and thick on the palate, with notes of black fruit, bunghole and dates, with hints of spice and peat smoke.

Finish: A long and persistent finish, with notes of salted caramel, toffee and a continuation of the peaty smoke note.

Springbank is said to be the last old-school distillery that still carries out all the stages of production itself, from malting to maturation. Lush and creamy, it stands out for its vanilla, coconut, marzipan and extremely fruity notes, accompanied by hints of liquorice and banana chips, with a long finish with a hint of mint.
