The fruit of 2004 emerges more clearly in this second fullness of the wine. Pink grapefruit and blood orange finally give way to fig. The extra time on the lees reveals the minerality of the vintage in a glorious maturity, the signature of Dom Pérignon. Plénitude 2 2004 presents notes of cocoa, mocha, roasted coffee, brioche and honey. On the palate, the wine evolves between tension and weightlessness. It is extremely precise, tactile and chiselled. The whole persists on a seductive, liquorice line.
