Château-Chalon is a long-keeping wine, dry and generous. Its brilliant, limpid golden colour has gained in intensity over its long years of ageing. The nose is dominated by walnuts, very ripe apples, candied fruit and spices, balanced by the same aromatic intensity on the palate. This is a powerful, very complex wine with great length.
